Teal - Painting - February
The new semester is in full swing, and students are enjoying their new electives.
For the month of February, students are learning about Pop Art. Pop Art represents popular culture. Popular food and drink, cartoon characters, celebrities, or even every day items that are easily recognizable all represent Pop Art.
Students began their project by sketching a design in pencil for their work. Then students will draw their work onto canvas and paint using acrylic paint.
Students must use at least one primary color (red, yellow, blue), 1 secondary color that they mix themselves (orange, purple, green), and 1 color that they have mixed with either white or black to change the value.
