This is a very exciting year! Miss McKay and I will be team-teaching your child. This means that I will be teaching reading and science to our kindergarten and first grade classrooms. And Miss McKay will be teaching math and social studies to our kindergarten and first grade classrooms.  Both of us will be teaching writing.

 

 I am extremely excited to be your child's teacher this year.  All First Grade and Kindergarten students in the Green Room will be proficient in Reading, Writing, and Math!  All First Grade and Kindergarten students in the Green Room will also pass all District Assessments!

 
Summit Academy North's school theme is: College.  Each classroom is a college/university found in the United States.  The college for Ms. Rhodes' Green Room will be is the University of Notre Dame.  Go Irish! 
 
From Kindergarten students and up we will encourage the need and desire to attend college.  Here at Summit, we believe every student will be grade proficient in Reading, Writing, and Math and will be ready and attending college at the end of their 12th grade year.
