Welcome to my website!

I know this year is going to be great year! I have been teaching at Summit Academy North for eleven years now! Wow, the time has flown by! I have had the privilege of working with Mrs. Borrusch and Mrs. Oleski for nine years. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with three minors in Language Arts, Art and Structures of Discipline (Science and Math). I completed my Master's degree from Marygrove College in 2006.

Some of my hobbies include photography, reading, camping, kayaking, surfing and traveling. I really enjoy the outdoors, and staying active. This year my sister and I are planning on doing our second half-marathon. 

I am looking forward to getting to know my students and families this year. I will be teaching Language Arts which includes writing and reading, as well as Social Studies. I have a lot of fun activities planned for this year!
