Technology is integrated into nearly every aspect of our  lives. The skills to use technology is a necessity to participate in the information economy and more importantly, in the global economy. Summit students will be equipped with the knowledge to use technology to communicate, to access information and, most importantly, to become lifelong learners.   The 1 to 1 initiative transforms the use of technology beyond its use as a "special" resource to an integral part of the teaching and learning experience.

Goals

1. Teach students discernment and the ethical use of technology.
2. Increase the engagement of our students in their schoolwork
3. Teach 21 st century literacy skills, the new learning, communicating and thinking skills of the information age, as well as general technology skills
4. Improve student achievement and assessment scores, through a higher level of engagement, greater ability to differentiate instruction and easier access to information.
5. Enhance communication between  teachers, students, and parents
6. Equip students to be life-long learners
