Head Coach - Neil Szuch mocowrestling@hotmail.com

Neil has nearly 10 years of coaching experience, and has been on the floor at the Palace of Auburn Hills for 2 State Champions, and many other State Placers.

 

At Airport, he coached two District Championship teams in 2007 and 2008, and a Huron League Champion in 2007.  The combined dual meet record for teams coached by Neil was 48-15.

 

As an athlete in high school, Neil compiled a career record of 95-12 in three seasons. At the State Level he also finished 7th and 3rd in the State.  He also played for Airport's first ever Huron League Championship and Playoff Game in Football.

 

Neil brings an aggressive style and pin heavy arsenal of top rides to Summit.

 

MS Head Coach - Shaun O'Hern

 

A graduate from Monroe Jefferson in 2003.  He was a 4 year varsity wrestler.  His senior year he was league champion and he took second in the county. 
 
He graduated from the University of Toledo in 2008 with 2 Bachelor's degree's (Physical Education & Health Education). 
 
Throughout high school and college he was part of the coaching staff for the Bear Attack Youth Wrestling Club.  
 
Last year he joined the Summit Academy coaching staff and is now in his second year as the head middle school coach as well as a varsity assistant.

Shaun brings a strong background in takedowns, escapes, and reversals along with the knowledge that he brings with his Health and Physical Education background.
